What is 4-H?
4-H stands for the 4 H's, Head, Heart, Hands, and Health! 4-H is a national organization that strives to promote positive youth development! Learn more here.
All 4-H members must join a local 4-H club and attend monthly meetings to remain in good standing. These members are considered Clovers if between the ages of 5 and 7, and 4Hers if between the ages of 8 and 18. All birthdays are determined by January 1 of the current year.
The 4-H pledge is recited at every meeting to remind parents and children what the goals are of the club.
"I pledge my Head to clearer thinking, my Heart to greater loyalty, my Hands to larger service and my Heart to better living for my club, my community, my country and my world."
The 4-H Motto! "To Make the Best Better"
